Cathleen Flahardy has been an active writer and journalist for more than a decade. She started her career with Seattle magazine in 1999 then returned to her Chicago hometown in 2001 to work in B2B journalism. In 2003, she joined the editorial team at Corporate Legal Times, now InsideCounsel, and quickly climbed the ranks to senior editor. In 2005, she took a two-year hiatus from journalism to gain experience in corporate America while obtaining an MBA from Loyola University Chicago. In 2008, Cathleen rejoined the InsideCounsel family as lead editor of the publication, and in 2009 she was named editor-in-chief.

Darryl W. Gibbs is a Vice President & Counsel at AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company, a financial services company. In his current position, Darryl heads the Contract Management Group and his duties include managing the drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including consultant, technology, intellectual property, software services and license agreements, and product distribution agreements and other business arrangements.
Prior to his work as an attorney Darryl enjoyed a career in the social services sector.

Richard J. Musgrave, Esquire is Senior Counsel – Intellectual Property & Legal for Husky Injection Molding Systems, Inc. Rick leads Husky’s global in-house intellectual property team and law firms throughout the world.
Rick joined Husky in 2004 and has over 12 years of legal experience in law firm and corporate environments. Rick is responsible for the intellectual property for all of Husky’s divisions and provides US legal guidance to Husky’s foreign entities. Rick is licensed to practice in Illinois, Missouri, Massachusetts and Vermont, and before United States Patent and Trademark Office and Canadian Intellectual Property Office.
Prior to joining Husky, Rick was in private practice as a patent attorney and taught Computer Law at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. Rick received his law degree, cum laude, from New England School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. Before practicing law, he was an engineer at Raytheon Company for 14 years.
