Anjali C. Das is a partner in the Chicago office of Wilson Elser. Ms. Das represents insurers in connection with professional liability insurance coverage matters and claims involving accounting, finance, and other complex business issues. She is a coordinating partner for the firm’s Directors & Officers practice and a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee.
Ms. Das represents the interests of U.S., London, and Bermuda-based primary and excess insurers in high exposure claims against directors and officers of public and private companies, non-profit boards, financial institutions, investment banks, insurance companies, mortgage brokers, bank and custodial trustees, and ERISA plan fiduciaries. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Mr. Meyerowitz was an attorney for Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, a prominent Wall Street law firm, for nearly five years. At Milbank, he represented sophisticated financial services institutions in a wide range of matters, including insurance law. After leaving Milbank, Mr. Meyerowitz founded Meyerowitz Communications, a law firm marketing communications consulting company whose clients include firms that specialize in representing insurance companies or policyholders.
Mr. Meyerowitz is editor-in-chief of nearly a dozen legal and business publications for national and international publishers and is managing editor of the Federal Bar Council Quarterly. He has written scores of articles on wide-ranging legal topics, including insurance law, for publications such as the ABA Journal, The New York Times, the New York Law Journal, and The Pennsylvania Lawyer Magazine.
