insurance transactional team
Things continue to look bad for New York law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf. Over the weekend, reports surfaced that New York prosecutors are investigating the beleaguered firm over allegations of wrongdoing by Steven Davis, formerly firm chairman and, until yesterday, part of its recently appointed five-person management team.
The dark cloud hanging over New York law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf could be developing from cumulonimbus to supercell.
Hopefully the onset of spring will also mean a rebirth of sorts for Dewey & LeBoeuf’s partner ranks and financial health. The global law firm last week lost a dozen partners from its insurance transactional team to Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
