Peterson new chief legal officer at Conexant

Newport Beach, Calif.-based Conexant Systems Inc. has hired Mark D. Peterson as senior vice president, chief legal officer and secretary. Peterson joins Conexant from Anaheim, Calif.-based Targus Group International Inc. where he was senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.
