Commercial Counsel (J5369)
Description:
BarkerGilmore has been engaged by a Fortune 500 Company located in Raleigh, NC to identify a Senior Corporate Counsel who will be involved with all facets of the business as a Commercial Attorney. We are looking for a lawyer with five to 10 years of experience and the ability to manage a wide variety of legal matters impacting the business including antitrust, commercial contracts, M&A, IP, environmental, employment, etc. The lawyer in this position will manage outside counsel and become a close business ally of the corporate executive team. We are looking for a lawyer who can provide risk counseling, come up with solutions to help the business thrive and guide complex legal matters to conclusion.
This is the perfect opportunity for a lawyer to leverage their experience to land a key position having significant influence while supporting a world business leader.
Job Requirements:
- Five to ten years of experience with a major law firm or in-house law department
- Antitrust experience is a must, accompanied by a broad corporate and/or litigation background to act as the first point of contact for all business legal issues
- Must have strong counseling experience and ability to interface with key company executives to solve complex problems.
