BarkerGilmore has been exclusively engaged by a major international bank to identify a Consumer Bank Counsel located in Birmingham, AL.  This Consumer Bank Counsel will focus on customer deposits and retail products.  This is an ideal opportunity to gain hands-on bank product regulatory experience, an area of practice currently experiencing a very high market demand.  The opportunity to gain this experience at one of the world’s largest global banks while being closely mentored by an industry expert should not be missed. The ideal experience necessary for this stellar opportunity includes:  JD from a prominent law school; 2 to 6 years of practice in consumer regulatory work; preferred candidates may not have extensive practice in the bank industry, but will have a strong desire to practice in financial services, have experience with reading regulations and commentary, be detail oriented and have a suburb ability to multi-task.
