BarkerGilmore has been exclusively engaged by a major international bank to identify a Commercial Banking Counsel located in Birmingham, AL.  This Commercial Banking Counsel will work on a high volume of varying and challenging commercial lending transactions on a global basis.  Our client is looking to expand their legal team with a bright attorney who is looking to have an impact on the commercial operations of one of the largest global banks. Our client is a top-rated commercial bank in the U.S. and one of the world’s largest and safest financial service companies.  BarkerGilmore has successfully placed attorneys with this stellar financial institution before, and all report a high level of satisfaction with their position and the organization.

Job Requirements:

The ideal experience necessary for this stellar opportunity includes:  JD from a prominent law school;  2 to 6 years of commercial lending experience; exposure to a varying type of commercial banking transactions including deposit relationships, extensions of credit (including term loans, revolvers and complex syndicated credit facilities), public finance transactions, derivative transactions, letters of credit, and similar transactions; preferred candidates will have international experience as well.
