BarkerGilmore has been retained by a national leader in both mortgage origination and servicing, to identify a Chief Compliance Officer. This executive level position will have responsibility for designing, developing and managing the compliance function for the mortgage business. This is a newly formed position due to continued growth in both servicing and origination and increased requirements from the government. The leader selected will be empowered to build-out and design our client’s decentralized compliance model. While the position will ideally be located within company headquarters in Southern New Jersey (outside of Philadelphia, PA), there is also the potential for the successful candidate to reside in Jacksonville, FL.

This is a highly visible position within our client’s organization and will report to the president of the mortgage operations. Our client is prepared to begin interviewing immediately.

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience leading the compliance organization for a sizeable mortgage company with meaningful experience in current servicing practices.
• Strong knowledge on the standards of mortgage compliance applicable for financial institutions.
• Viewed internally and externally as a subject matter expert in compliance and related matters.
