Michael G. Considine is a partner at Seward & Kissel LLP in the Litigation group and co-head of the Government Enforcement and Internal Investigations practice. He is a former supervisory federal prosecutor, serving as the Deputy Chief of the Long Island offices of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. In July 2008, he was nominated by President George W. Bush to be the U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
The federal government has ramped up its efforts to hold individuals accountable in cases of corporate wrongdoing, and in-house counsel have more frequently than ever found themselves in the crosshairs of those investigations.
