Cost-effective Anti-Corruption Compliance
With the economy in a fiscal crisis, many companies are facing tremendous pressure to eliminate discretionary spending and to reduce costs wherever possible. At the same time, regulators both in the US and overseas are increasing their focus on business corruption and bribery resulting in increased prosecutions and fines. Companies regularly find themselves being in a situation where they must simultaneously reduce costs but increase/enhance their compliance activities. Many companies are wondering "How can we do both?"
This web seminar will explore the latest significant trends in the anti-corruption arena and discuss the expectations that regulators have for effective and proactive compliance programs even in times of fiscal upheaval. The panel of experienced anti-corruption professionals will discuss ideas for performing cost effective proactive steps that can be taken to address these challenges. Included in the discussion will be those items sometimes missed when developing compliance programs that get a company into legal "hot water", as well as "tips from the trenches" on developing effective programs.
