  • Public Library of Law, http://plol.org
    PLOL indexes cases from the U.S. Supreme Court and appellate courts, state cases back to 1997, and federal and state statutes and codes.
  • FindLaw, http://lp.findlaw.com
    FindLaw hosts a repository of legal forms, and users can search case law from a limited number of states, including Illinois and Texas.
  • FastCase, www.fastcase.com
    A subscription-based service with substantially lower fees; many lawyers can get free access through their bar association memberships.
