Sikich LLP, a professional services firm specializing in accounting, technology, investment banking and advisory services, has named former Baker & McKenzie partner Sarah Harris general counsel.
Harris has expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity fund formation and regulation and general corporate and securities transactions and counseling. In her new role, Harris will manage all regulatory matters related to the firm’s numerous practice areas. Specifically, she will focus on risk assessment as Sikich continues to grow and acquire other companies.

Prior to Baker & McKenzie, Harris was an associate at Mayer Brown LLP and vice president and general counsel of The Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club. Harris has also worked with The Law Project as part of the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Inc.
Harris has a B.A. from Scripps College and a J.D. from the Northwestern University School of Law.
