Ann Schofield Baker has joined Perkins Coie’s New York office as a partner in the firm’s commercial litigation practice, focusing on intellectual property and other complex commercial matters. She was previously the head of McKool Smith’s national trademark and copyright litigation practice.
In addition to her IP litigation focus, Baker has a wide-ranging practice that includes the prosecution and defense of an extensive variety of complex commercial disputes. She has represented clients as lead trial counsel throughout all phases of litigation, including jury and bench trials, and has also represented clients in various alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Baker also maintains an active pro bono practice.
She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from New York Law School and her B.A., in English and criminology, cum laude, from the University of Toronto, Ontario.
