Janet Chubb, along with Louis Bubala, has joined Kaempfer Crowell to lead the firm’s new bankruptcy practice.

Chubb joins the Reno, Nev.-based firm after serving as a partner with Armstrong Teasdale. Her practice focuses on a wide variety of bankruptcy law cases, including formal bankruptcy proceedings, reorganization, liquidation and litigation. Her legal career has also included working as a stockholder with Jones Vargas for 21 years. Chubb, who received a law degree from the Loyola Law School at Loyola Marymount University, has twice been appointed and once elected as the lawyer representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference.

“I look forward to working alongside Lou as we build an effective bankruptcy department at Kaempfer Crowell,” Chubb said in a statement. “I’m confident we can make significant contributions to the firm and its clients.”
