Locke Lord’s Robertson elected to American Arbitration Association board

Ann Ryan Robertson, international partner at Locke Lord, has been elected to the board of directors of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

Robertson, who is based in the firm's Houston office, has more than 30 years of experience litigating and arbitrating domestic and international disputes. She is a member of the American Law Institute, serves as a U.S. delegate to the NAFTA Advisory Committee on Private Commercial Disputes and is also a Trustee of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

The non-profit AAA offers conflict management and dispute resolution services and has administered approximately 4.1 million alternative dispute resolution cases in its 88-year history.  

“Ann’s extensive knowledge and experience will be a great asset to AAA,” said David Harrell, chair of Locke Lord’s International Arbitration practice group. “She will prove incredibly effective in working with the organization to strengthen its national reputation as a dispute resolution leader.”
