American Council On Renewable Energy Elects Dentons’ Johnson Director

Johnson has been involved with energy policy for more than 30 years, starting with her work on Capitol Hill

Sydney McNiff Johnson, principal at Dentons US, has been elected to the board of directors of the American Council On Renewable Energy.

Johnson has been involved with energy policy for more than 30 years, starting with her work on Capitol Hill with Congressman Pete McCloskey (R-CA) in 1978 as energy and environmental legislative assistant. She earned a B.A. in political science and economics from Colorado College.

At Dentons, she provides insight on project management for energy clients to increase client visibility and direct public opinion among the governmental and commercial sectors.

Clint Vince, chair of Dentons’ energy practice, said in a statement, “We are very proud of Sydney and are confident she will be a tremendous asset to the ACORE board.”
