Most recently acting assistant attorney general for the Criminal Division at the U.S. Department of Justice, Mythili Raman has joined Covington & Burling as a partner resident in the Washington, D.C., office.
Raman has been with the Justice Department since 1996 and has held a variety of roles. As acting assistant attorney general, she oversaw the work of more than 600 prosecutors and led the Justice Department’s national and international criminal law enforcement initiatives, including investigations of complex financial fraud and market manipulation, money laundering and financial sanctions violations, foreign and public corruption, health care fraud, intellectual property theft and cybercrime.
