Kristen Collier Wright

Get in the Zone, Kristen Collier Wright, because you’re the new senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, customer satisfaction of AutoZone. Wright will be promoted to the position from her previous job title of assistant general counsel effective January 5. Prior to joining AutoZone in 2012, Wright was a partner with Bass, Berry & Sims in Memphis, Tenn. “With this promotion, we continue to strengthen our senior leadership team with seasoned and accomplished AutoZoners,” said AutoZone CEO Bill Rhodes in a release. “Kristen has strong leadership skills and her experiences will serve this company at a very high level for many years to come.”

David Mandell

I would think that entertainment company TVGN, parent of the TV Guide Network, would be an expert at choosing a new GC due to its familiarity with lists and the need to make choices. But no matter the method, TVGN has appointed David Mandell executive vice president and general counsel effective immediately. Mandell comes to TVGN from Mandalay Digital Group, where he served as EVP, general counsel and corporate secretary. Mandell has also held top legal leadership positions at Gemstar-TV Guide and Playboy Entertainment Group.

Stephen Yu

Network security company Infoblox Inc. is hoping that its legal future is now more secure with the appointment of Stephen Yu as executive vice president and general counsel. Yu brings with him more than 20 years of legal leadership experience, most recently serving as EVP, general counsel and secretary of Rovi Corporation for seven years. Yu has also served as GC of Aspect Communications Corporation, Riverstone Networks, Inc., and Palm, Inc. “[Steve] has served as a strong leader and legal advisor throughout his career and with his guidance we are well positioned to protect and enhance the business interests of Infoblox,” said Infoblox CEO Robert Thomas in a statement.
