Part of the philosophy behind the Department of Homeland Security’s “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign hinges on the idea that we are all collectively responsible for each other’s safety. It’s not just the responsibility of law enforcement to keep us secure, as it might have been in the past. This same paradigm shift is as true in the digital world as it is on the streets.
