Penn State approves Sandusky victim settlements

Announcement doesn’t specify number of claims or dollar amounts

Troubled Pennsylvania State University is starting to resolve some of the claims that arose from the Jerry Sandusky debacle.

The school announced Friday that it has approved settlement offers to some of the victims of Jerry Sandusky, the ex-football coach who last year was convicted of sexually abusing 10 boys for 15 years. Sandusky is serving a minimum of 30 years behind bars for his crimes.
