Sands must pay $101.6 million to businessman

Judge sides with Richard Suen, who claims he helped casino obtain Macau gaming license

A businessman just won big against Las Vegas Sands Corp.

Earlier this week, a Las Vegas district court judge ruled that Sands must pay a total of $101.6 million to 60-year-old Hong Kong businessman Richar Suen, who claims he helped the casino operator obtain its Macau gaming license. Judge Rob Bare’s judgment added $31.6 million in interest to the $70 million a jury awarded to Suen earlier this month.
