Healthstat Inc. hired Warren Hutton as the company’s first chief operating officer and general counsel. Hutton is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company, as well as all legal affairs.
Michael W. McCurdy joined Brookline Bancorp Inc. as general counsel. He has worked in both private practice and in the financial services sector. McCurdy most recently was executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Danvers Bancorp Inc.
Robert McKay joined EquiPower Resources Corp. as senior vice president and general counsel. Previously, McKay served as associate general counsel at Constellation Energy Group Inc.
Joseph S. Cancilla joined L.B. Foster Co. as its new vice president, general counsel and secretary. Previously, Cancilla was counsel in Siemens Industry Inc.’s legal department.
Slalom LLC hired Jim Mitchell as general counsel. In this newly created role, Mitchell will work closely with Slalom’s leadership team and external counsel to manage the company’s legal affairs. Additionally, he will help manage Slalom’s intellectual property portfolio.
The Home Depot appointed Teresa Wynn Roseborough as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Roseborough previously served as deputy general counsel at MetLife before joining the world’s largest home improvement retailer.
Nicholas Mack joined Clean Power Finance as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. He formerly served as general counsel and corporate secretary at solar finance provider Sungevity.
The Motion Picture Association of America hired Henry Hoberman as senior executive vice president and global general counsel. Hoberman brings 25 years of entertainment experience and was previously general counsel for RHI Entertainment, ABC and The Walt Disney Co.
Frank Pao was appointed executive vice president of business affairs and general counsel for blinkx. Pao formerly served as president and chief executive officer of Vidient Systems before joining the video search engine.
Daimler Trucks North America LLC appointed Brian T. Burton as general counsel and secretary. Burton formerly was director of compliance and regulatory affairs at the company.
MTS Systems Corp. hired Steven G. Mahon as senior vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer. Before joining MTS Systems, Mahon served as vice president and assistant general counsel for Alliant Techsystems Inc.
Suzanne Wise was hired as general counsel by Network Rail. Wise formerly was general counsel and company secretary at Premier Foods Plc, the U.K.’s leading food manufacturer. There, she developed the company’s first in-house legal function.
Asset management company Martin Currie hired Jeremy Hill to fill its newly created general counsel role. Hill previously was general counsel of Universities Superannuation Scheme and brings experience from working at the London Stock Exchange, Mercury Asset Management and Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
Anne Donohue was appointed senior vice president and general counsel by SRA International Inc. Donohue joined SRA in 1990 and previously worked for the Institute for Defense Analyses.
Erik J. Romslo joined Northern Oil and Gas Inc. as vice president, general counsel and secretary. Romslo formerly practiced law with Faegre & Benson, Northern Oil’s outside counsel.
David Weber joined Digital Discovery as general counsel. Weber formerly served as discovery practices counsel for a national electronic discovery company. He will serve as an e-discovery consultant for Digital Discovery.
Cartera Commerce hired Ethan M. Flaherty as general counsel. Flaherty has represented the company since its formation in 2005 as part of its primary outside legal team.
Ingalls & Snyder named J. Richard Popp general counsel. Popp previously was general counsel and chief compliance officer of Schultze Asset Management LLC.
