Hobart Dots store to pay for refusing to hire whites

The Hobart Dots store has agreed to pay $246,500 to a group of at least 23 white job applicants who the store refused to hire because of their race.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed suit against the retailer last year when a white woman who applied for a job claimed she was told by an employee the store didn't hire white people.
