U.K. financial regulators charged Christian Littlewood , a former investment banker with Shore Capital Group Plc. and Commerzbank AG's Dresdner Kleinwort, with insider trading . Littlewood's wife, Angie Littlewood, was also charged, according to a statement released by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) Monday .
Both Littlewood and his wife face 13 counts of insider trading, the FSA said. The couple traded shares listed on London's Alternative Investment Market between 2000 and 2009, according to the charges. Littlewood was arrested in April. The FSA is also seeking extradition for a third unnamed suspect that was arrested in the Comoros Islands in connection to this crime.
Littlewood, who was Dresdner's senior corporate finance adviser until 2007, will appear with his wife in a London court on April 6.
