TechnoLawyer

Technolawyer isn't just a blog--it's an entire Web-based legal community. Boasting nearly 14,000 registered members, the site offers eight e-newsletters, an XML feed and a blog.

The blog covers an array of legal technology topics. One recent post gives advice on how to use Acrobat Reader to comment on draft documents. Another article offers tips on sprucing up PowerPoint presentations. Occasionally posters will diverge from the legal technology theme, reviewing products such as a pair of iPod-style earphones.

The real meat of Technolawyer is in its eight newsletters. One newsletter is devoted to responding to readers' technology questions, one evaluates legal tech products, one gives updates on tech-related IP, and the "Fat Friday" newsletter gives Technolawyer members a chance to "discuss whatever they damn well please."

Site creator Neil Squillante began the site in 1997. He was previously a litigator at Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
